Connecticut High School Basketball - Wheeler thwarts Norwich RVT
January 28, 2023: North Stonington, CT 06359 The Wheeler Lions (North Stonington, CT) basketball knocked off the visiting Norwich RVT Warriors (Norwich, CT), 61-47 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Plainfield (Central Village, CT). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Plainfield went down by Stonington (Stonington, CT), 63-30, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Tourtellotte for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 1.
