Connecticut High School Basketball - Grasso Tech nudges Norwich RVT
January 27, 2023: Norwich, CT 06360 Grasso Tech Eagles (Groton, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Norwich RVT Warriors (Norwich, CT), 60-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Grasso Tech upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Eagles host Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT) to clash with the Hawks in a Connecticut Technical - Central bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-11. Vinal RVT lost 77-32 in their recent league bout against Cheney RVT (Manchester, CT)
Next up, the Warriors clash with the Wheeler Lions (North Stonington, CT) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Norwich RVT will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 66-57 non-league loss to Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT).
