January 28, 2023: Moriarty, NM 87035 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) and the host Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM), saw Pojoaque Valley's basketball squad wallop Moriarty by a tally of 64-38.
With the victory, Pojoaque Valley improves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Elks/Elkettes travel to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM) to confront the Hilltoppers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a record of 2-9. Los Alamos lost 48-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Taos (Taos, NM)
Next up, the Pintos confront the Robertson Cardinals (Las Vegas, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 30. Moriarty will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 74-36 non-league loss to St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM).
