Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Sacred Heart Academy overwhelmed by East
January 28, 2023: Bryn Mawr, PA 19010 The Sacred Heart Academy Lions basketball team (Bryn Mawr, PA), was overwhelmed 47-20 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting East Vikings (West Chester, PA)
The Vikings now possess a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Shanahan for a Ches-Mont - National battle on Tuesday, January 31. East will battle a Eagles team coming off a 42-35 league win over Downingtown West (Downingtown, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 15-3.
The Lions (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Delaware County Christian (Newtown Square, PA). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Delaware County Christian was overwhelmed by The Christian Academy (Brookhaven, PA), 36-22, in a league battle.
