January 28, 2023: Gloucester City, NJ 08030 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Gloucester City Lions (Gloucester City, NJ) and the visiting Paulsboro Red Raiders (Paulsboro, NJ), saw Gloucester City's basketball squad hold off Paulsboro by a tally of 42-36.
With the victory, Gloucester City improves its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Gateway Regional (Woodbury Heights, NJ) to play the Gators in a Colonial challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 10-8.
Next up, the Red Raiders play the Collingswood Panthers (Collingswood, NJ) in a Colonial challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Paulsboro will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 28-21 league win over Audubon (Audubon, NJ).
