The Northwestern Huskies routed the host Rittman Indians basketball team by a final score of 57-35 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the Huskies face the Madison Comprehensive Rams (Mansfield, OH) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 30. Northwestern will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record.

With the defeat, Rittman moves to 4-14 on the year. The Indians travel to Chippewa (Doylestown, OH) to face the Chipps in a Wayne County game on Thursday, February 2. The Chipps enter the game with a record of 16-4. Chippewa won 64-41 in their recent non-league game against Perry (Massillon, OH)
