Georgia High School Basketball - Upson-Lee fells Spalding

January 28, 2023: Griffin, GA 30224

Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Spalding Jaguars (Griffin, GA), 63-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Upson-Lee upgrades its record to 7-13 on the season. The Knights host Peach County (Fort Valley, GA) to clash with the Trojans in a AAA Region 2 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 15-6. Peach County won 55-39 in their recent non-league bout against Dublin (Dublin, GA)

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Westside Seminoles (Macon, GA) in a AAAA Region 2 bout, on Friday, February 3. Spalding will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record.
