Iowa High School Basketball - AHSTW defeats Riverside
January 28, 2025: Avoca, IA The AHSTW Vikings (Avoca, IA) basketball were winner over the visiting Riverside Bulldogs (Oakland, IA), 62-43 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Red Oak for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30. AHSTW will play a Tigers team coming off a 74-70 non-league loss to Clarinda (Clarinda, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-12.
With the loss, Riverside falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Logan-Magnolia (Logan, IA) to play the Panthers in a Western Iowa bout on Friday, January 31. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Logan-Magnolia lost 56-31 in their recent league bout against Tri-Center (Neola, IA)
