January 28, 2025: Alex, OK 73002 The Velma-Alma Comets (Velma, OK) basketball crushed the host Alex Longhorns (Alex, OK), 62-18 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Comets now possess a 19-2 record. They play next when they travel to Healdton for a Oilfield bout on Friday, January 31. Velma-Alma will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-33 non-league loss to Waurika (Waurika, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-11.
