February 4, 2025: Velma, OK 73491 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Velma-Alma Comets (Velma, OK) and the visiting Elmore City-Pernell Badgers (Elmore City, OK), observed Velma-Alma's basketball team overwhelm Elmore City-Pernell by a margin of 72-37.
The Comets (21-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilson (Wilson, OK). The Eagles come into the Oilfield challenge with a 11-11 record. In their last challenge, Wilson was trounced by Silo (Silo, OK), 47-31, in a non-league challenge.
