Georgia High School Basketball - Apalachee nips Clarke Central
January 28, 2025: Athens, GA 30605 In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Apalachee Wildcats basketball team scored a close 67-63 win over the Clarke Central Gladiators.
The Wildcats (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA). The Raiders come into the AAAAA Region 8 contest with a 18-3 record. In their last contest, Habersham Central edged Loganville (Loganville, GA), 67-61, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Gladiators battle the Habersham Central Raiders (Mt. Airy, GA) in a AAAAA Region 8 contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Clarke Central will attempt to better on its 0-22 season record.
