Delaware High School Basketball - Avon Grove Charter beaten by Aquinas Academy
January 28, 2025: Bear, DE 19701 The Aquinas Academy Crusaders were victorious over the visiting Avon Grove Charter Wolves basketball squad by a final score of 60-48 in Tuesday's league outing.
Next, the Crusaders face the Providence Christian Academy Griffins (Elkton, MD) in a Mid-Atlantic Independent outing, on Friday, January 31. Aquinas Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Griffins enter the outing with a 2-12 record after their 80-42 league loss to Tome (North East, MD).
The Wolves (5-11) will now prepare for their outing against Fellowship of Christian Athletes (Kingsville, MD). The Falcon enter the Mid-Atlantic Independent outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Fellowship of Christian Athletes was dropped by Tri-State Christian (Elkton, MD), 57-54, in a league outing.
