Michigan High School Basketball - Colon overwhelms Athens
January 28, 2025: Colon, MI 49040 The Colon Magi basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Athens Indians to 30 in the Magi league triumph on Tuesday.
The Magi now have a 11-3 record. They play next when they host River Valley for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 29. Colon will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 54-37 league loss to Eau Claire (Eau Claire, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, Athens falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Indians host Litchfield (Litchfield, MI) to confront the Terriers in a Southern Central - East game on Wednesday, January 29. The Terriers go into the game with a record of 2-10. Litchfield lost 73-37 in their recent league game against Camden-Frontier (Camden, MI)
