Alaska High School Basketball - Bartlett bests Chugiak
January 28, 2025: Chugiak, AK 99567 The Bartlett Golden Bears (Anchorage, AK) basketball toppled the host Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK), 54-39 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Golden Bears now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they host West Anchorage for a 4A Cook Inlet bout on Friday, January 31. Bartlett will play a Eagles team coming off a 67-58 league loss to Dimond (Anchorage, AK). The Eagles record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Chugiak falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to West Valley (Fairbanks, AK) to play the Wolf Pack in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30. The Wolf Pack go into the bout with a record of 9-5. West Valley won 43-37 in their recent league bout against Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK)
