January 28, 2025: Gail, TX 79738 The Klondike Cougars (Lamesa, TX) basketball edged the host Borden County Coyotes (Gail, TX), 63-62 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 15-4 record. They play next when they host Dawson for a 1A Region I District 6 bout on Friday, January 31. Klondike will play a Dragons team coming off a 63-45 league loss to Loop (Loop, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 0-12.
With the loss, Borden County falls to 12-9 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Grady (Lenorah, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 1A Region I District 6 bout on Friday, January 31. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Grady lost 42-34 in their recent league bout against Sands (Ackerly, TX)
