The Canyon Springs Pioneers basketball squad (North Las Vegas, NV), was crushed 97-63 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights (Las Vegas, NV)

With the victory, Democracy Prep Agassi Campus advances its record to 15-6 on the year. The Blue Knights host Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV) to meet the Bulldogs in a 3A Southern - Desert battle on Wednesday, January 29. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 13-8. Virgin Valley won 67-41 in their recent league battle against Eldorado (Las Vegas, NV)

The Pioneers now own a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Desert Oasis for a 4A Lake battle on Thursday, January 30. Canyon Springs will meet a Diamondbacks squad coming off a 68-59 league loss to Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV). The Diamondbacks record now stands at 7-11.
