The Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Canyon Springs Pioneers to 29 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.

The Knights now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Moapa Valley for a 3A Southern - Desert game on Wednesday, December 11. Mater Academy East Las Vegas will confront a Pirates team coming off a 57-54 non-league loss to Carson (Carson City, NV). The Pirates record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Canyon Springs falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Rancho (Las Vegas, NV) to confront the Rams in a 4A Lake game on Wednesday, December 11.
