The Cape Hatteras Hurricanes got by the visiting Hobgood Charter Raiders basketball squad by a final score of 51-48 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Hurricanes clash with the Bear Grass Charter Bears (Williamston, NC) in a 1A Atlantic outing, on Friday, January 31. Cape Hatteras will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Bears come into the outing with a 6-9 record after their 75-42 non-league loss to Holmes (Edenton, NC).
