Virginia High School Basketball - Patrick Henry triumphant over Cave Spring
January 28, 2025: Roanoke, VA 24015 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA) and the visiting Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA), observed Patrick Henry's basketball team overwhelm Cave Spring by a score of 67-35.
The Patriots (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Cougars come into the River Ridge challenge with a 4-15 record. In their last challenge, Pulaski County was routed by Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA), 56-54, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA) in a River Ridge challenge, on Friday, January 31. Cave Spring will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Blue Demons come into the challenge with a 3-14 record after their 66-60 non-league loss to William Byrd (Vinton, VA).
