In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Cochranton Cardinals basketball team scored a big 78-35 triumph over the Jamestown Muskies.

The Cardinals (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Saegertown (Saegertown, PA). The Panthers go into the District 10 Region 2 contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Saegertown was trounced by Rocky Grove (Franklin, PA), 59-50, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Muskies battle the Maplewood Tigers (Guys Mills, PA) in a District 10 Region 2 contest, on Friday, January 31. Jamestown will attempt to better on its 1-14 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 5-9 record after their 39-38 league loss to Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA).
