Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Penn-Trafford holds off Greater Latrobe
January 28, 2025: Latrobe, PA 15650 The Penn-Trafford Warriors basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Greater Latrobe Wildcats to 52 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now have a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Greensburg Salem for a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. Penn-Trafford will confront a Golden Lions team coming off a 57-37 league loss to East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA). The Golden Lions record now stands at 2-11.
With the loss, Greater Latrobe falls to 15-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA) to confront the Panthers in a WPIAL 5A 1 game on Friday, January 31. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 8-10. Franklin Regional won 49-44 in their recent league game against Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA)
