The Grove City Eagles basketball squad (Grove City, PA), was crushed 71-35 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA)

With the victory, Hickory advances its record to 11-4 on the year. The Hornets host Mercer (Mercer, PA) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Friday, January 31. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 11-5. Mercer lost 58-42 in their recent non-league bout against Grove City (Grove City, PA)

With the loss, Grove City falls to 13-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Farrell (Farrell, PA) to play the Steelers in a District 10 Region 4 bout on Friday, January 31. The Steelers go into the bout with a record of 4-9.
