With the victory, Yoakum upgrades its record to 16-8 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Edna (Edna, TX) to face the Cowboys in a 3A Region IV District 25 match on Friday, January 31. The Cowboys enter the match with a record of 8-5. Edna lost 74-63 in their recent league match against Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX)
The Cobras now sport a 18-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hallettsville for a 3A Region IV District 25 match on Friday, January 31. Industrial will face a Brahmas squad coming off a 44-42 league win over Tidehaven (El Maton, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 8-20.
