The Winterset Huskies basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting North Polk Comets to 48 in the Huskies league triumph on Tuesday.

The Huskies now have a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Carroll for a Raccoon River game on Friday, January 31. Winterset will confront a Tigers team coming off a 75-53 league win over Boone (Boone, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, North Polk falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Carlisle (Carlisle, IA) to confront the Wildcats in a Raccoon River game on Monday, February 3. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 5-11. Carlisle lost 65-60 in their recent league game against Gilbert (Gilbert, IA)
