In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host West Florida Baptist Academy Conquerors basketball team scored a close 69-64 triumph over the Central Jaguars.

The Conquerors (18-5) will now prepare for their contest against Gulf Pointe Latin (Navarre, FL). The Gladiators go into the Panhandle Christian contest with a 12-5 record.

In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Jay Royals (Jay, FL) in a Rural District 1 contest, on Thursday, January 30. Central will attempt to better on its 13-9 season record. The Royals go into the contest with a 16-3 record after their 41-38 non-league loss to Milton (Milton, FL).
