In Tuesday's league contest, the host Colquitt County Packers basketball team scored a good 46-34 triumph over the Tift County Blue Devils.

The Packers (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lowndes (Valdosta, GA). The Vikings go into the AAAAAA Region 1 contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, Lowndes topped Valdosta (Valdosta, GA), 69-39, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Richmond Hill Wildcats (Richmond Hill, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 1 contest, on Friday, January 31. Tift County will attempt to better on its 8-11 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 15-4 record after their 50-43 league loss to Camden County (Kingsland, GA).
