Minnesota High School Basketball - Rushford-Peterson bested by Cotter
January 28, 2025: Winona, MN 55987 Cotter Ramblers (Winona, MN) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Rushford-Peterson Trojans (Rushford, MN), 59-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cotter advances its record to 13-7 on the year. The Ramblers travel to Lake City (Lake City, MN) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Sunday, February 2. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 11-10. Lake City won 59-45 in their recent league match against Pine Island (Pine Island, MN)
The Trojans now own a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kenyon-Wanamingo for a A Section 1 match on Thursday, January 30. Rushford-Peterson will face a Knights squad coming off a 57-48 league win over Blooming Prairie (Blooming Prairie, MN). The Knights record now stands at 7-14.
