In Tuesday's league contest, the host Pflugerville Connally Cougars basketball team scored a big 57-35 triumph over the Elgin Wildcats.

The Cougars (3-24) will now prepare for their contest against Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX). The Hawks go into the 5A Region III District 23 contest with a 18-13 record. In their last contest, Hendrickson was trounced by Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX), 43-39, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the East View Patriots (Georgetown, TX) in a 5A Region III District 23 contest, on Friday, January 31. Elgin will attempt to better on its 6-27 season record.
