The Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC) basketball crushed the host Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC), 54-27 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Black Knights now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Andrews for a 1A Smoky Mountain bout on Friday, January 31. Robbinsville will play a Wildcats team coming off a 90-17 league loss to Cherokee (Cherokee, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-9.

With the loss, Murphy falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Swain County (Bryson City, NC) to play the Maroon Devils in a 1A Smoky Mountain bout on Friday, January 31. The Maroon Devils go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Swain County won 35-27 in their recent league bout against Hayesville (Hayesville, NC)
