Michigan High School Basketball - Newaygo knocks off Ravenna
January 28, 2025: Ravenna, MI 49451 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Newaygo Lions basketball team scored a good 44-35 win over the Ravenna Bulldogs.
The Lions (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against Grant (Grant, MI). The Tigers come into the Central State contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Grant defeated Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI), 41-31, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Mason County Central Spartans (Scottville, MI) in a Western Michigan - Other contest, on Friday, January 31. Ravenna will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 6-7 record after their 53-50 league win over Whitehall (Whitehall, MI).
