Michigan High School Basketball - Newaygo thwarts White Cloud
February 18, 2025: Newaygo, MI 49337 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Newaygo Lions (Newaygo, MI) and the visiting White Cloud Indians (White Cloud, MI), observed Newaygo's basketball team knock off White Cloud by a score of 50-30.
The Lions (16-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Montcalm (Stanton, MI). The Hornets come into the Central State challenge with a 8-9 record. In their last challenge, Central Montcalm was knocked off by Tri County Area (Howard City, MI), 37-34, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Indians encounter the Pentwater Falcons (Pentwater, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 19. White Cloud will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 42-12 league win over Walkerville (Walkerville, MI).
