The Southeast Valley Jaguars basketball squad (Gowrie, IA), was crushed 84-10 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Pocahontas Indians (Pocahontas, IA)

With the victory, Pocahontas advances its record to 12-4 on the year. The Indians travel to Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA) to meet the Mustangs in a Twin Lakes battle on Thursday, January 30. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 11-2. Newell-Fonda won 56-49 in their recent non-league battle against Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA)

The Jaguars now own a 1-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire for a Twin Lakes battle on Friday, January 31. Southeast Valley will meet a Titans squad coming off a 60-19 non-league win over Storm Lake St. Mary (Storm Lake, IA). The Titans record now stands at 7-10.
