January 28, 2025: Staunton, VA 24401 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA) and the visiting Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA), observed Staunton's basketball team knock off Buffalo Gap by a score of 45-30.
The Storm (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Stuarts Draft was knocked off by Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA), 39-13, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bison encounter the Alleghany Cougars (Covington, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. Buffalo Gap will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 42-23 non-league loss to Radford (Radford, VA).
