January 28, 2025: Concord, NC 28027 Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC), 39-22 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Salisbury upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year.
The Chargers now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to A.L. Brown for a non-league match on Friday, January 31. Cox Mill will face a Wonders squad coming off a 55-19 league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Wonders record now stands at 2-9.
