The A.L. Brown Wonders basketball squad (Kannapolis, NC), was nudged 24-18 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC)

With the victory, Cox Mill advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Chargers host Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 3-1. Lake Norman won 56-16 in their recent non-league battle against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC)

The Wonders now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Cabarrus for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 9.
