California High School Basketball - Live Oak thwarts Mt. Pleasant
January 28, 2025: San Jose, CA 95127 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA) and the host Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA), observed Live Oak's basketball team knock off Mt. Pleasant by a score of 45-36.
The Acorns (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (San Jose, CA). The Lions come into the challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln was knocked off by Gilroy (Gilroy, CA), 37-12, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cardinals encounter the Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The 76ers come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 28-17 league loss to Del Mar (San Jose, CA).
