South Carolina High School Basketball - Cathedral Academy overwhelms Dorchester Academy
January 28, 2025: North Charleston, SC 29418 The Cathedral Academy Generals basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Dorchester Academy Raiders to 23 in the Generals league triumph on Tuesday.
The Generals now have a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Charleston Collegiate for a non-league game on Friday, January 31. Cathedral Academy will confront a Sundevils team coming off a 70-34 non-league loss to Northwood Academy (Charleston, SC). The Sundevils record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Dorchester Academy falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Raiders host Colleton Prep Academy (Walterboro, SC) to confront the War Hawks in a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. The War Hawks go into the game with a record of 2-3. Colleton Prep Academy won 37-11 in their recent non-league game against Patrick Henry Academy (Estill, SC)
