California High School Basketball - Deer Valley sneaks past Emerald
January 28, 2025: Antioch, CA 94531 The Deer Valley Wolverines (Antioch, CA) basketball edged the visiting Emerald Aerouants (Dublin, CA), 48-45 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Wolverines now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Antioch for a bout on Friday, January 31. Deer Valley will play a Panthers team coming off a 69-29 league loss to Liberty (Brentwood, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-13.
With the loss, Emerald falls to 10-12 on the campaign. The Aerouants host Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA) to play the Pirates in a bout on Friday, January 31. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 0-17. Pittsburg lost 49-40 in their recent non-league bout against Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA)
