California High School Basketball - Union Mine holds off Liberty Ranch

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Union Mine Diamondbacks basketball team scored a close 63-57 triumph over the Liberty Ranch Hawks.

The Diamondbacks (6-16) will now prepare for their contest against Argonaut (Jackson, CA). The Mustangs go into the contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Argonaut nipped El Dorado (Placerville, CA), 64-35, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Hawks confront the Amador Buffaloes (Sutter Creek, CA) in a battle, on Wednesday, January 29. Liberty Ranch will attempt to advance on its 8-14 season record. The Buffaloes enter the battle with a 2-17 record after their 69-20 league loss to Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento, CA).
