Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sandhills/Thedford Knights (Dunning, NE) and the host Anselmo-Merna Coyotes (Merna, NE), saw Sandhills/Thedford's basketball squad overcome Anselmo-Merna by a tally of 50-32.

With the victory, Sandhills/Thedford improves its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Knights host Ainsworth (Ainsworth, NE) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 4. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Ainsworth lost 68-51 in their recent non-league challenge against McCook (McCook, NE)

Next up, the Coyotes play the Spalding Academy Shamrocks (Spalding, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Anselmo-Merna will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record.
