Arizona High School Basketball - Desert Christian overwhelms Valley Union
January 29, 2022: Tucson, AZ 85710 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Desert Christian Eagles (Tucson, AZ) and the visiting Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ), saw Desert Christian's basketball squad wallop Valley Union by a tally of 61-20.
With the victory, Desert Christian improves its record to 18-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Duncan (Duncan, AZ) to confront the Wildkats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Wildkats come into the challenge with a record of 16-4. Duncan lost 59-50 in their recent league challenge against Cibecue/Dischii Biko (Cibecue, AZ)
Next up, the Blue Devils confront the St. David Tigers (St. David, AZ) in a 1A South challenge, on Monday, January 31. Valley Union will attempt to improve on its 0-19 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 15-3 record after their 63-51 non-league win over The Gregory School (Tucson, AZ).
