Arizona High School Basketball - Immaculate Heart knocked off by Desert Christian
January 5, 2022: Tucson, AZ 85710 The Desert Christian Eagles basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Immaculate Heart Knights to 40 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Thomas for a non-league contest on Friday, January 7. Desert Christian will meet a Apaches team coming off a 58-45 non-league loss to San Manuel (San Manuel, AZ). The Apaches record now stands at 1-11.
The Knights (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against San Simon (San Simon, AZ). The Longhorns enter the non-league contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, San Simon was defeated by St. David (St. David, AZ), 77-37, in a league contest.
