In Saturday's league outing, the Serra Padres (San Mateo, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA), by a count of 67-57.

The Padres (13-5) will now prepare for their outing against Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA). The Bells go into the West Catholic outing with a 9-8 record. In their last outing, Bellarmine College Prep was topped by Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA), 56-39, in a league outing.
