The South Tahoe Vikings basketball team scored 65 points and held the host North Valleys Panthers to 44 in the Vikings league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sage Ridge for a non-league contest on Monday, January 31. South Tahoe will battle a Scorpions team coming off a 34-5 league win over Excel Christian (Sparks, NV). The Scorpions record now stands at 6-9.

The Panthers (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hug (Reno, NV). The Hawks enter the 3A Northern - West contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Hug was routed by South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA), 45-23, in a league contest.
