The Mandan Braves (Mandan, ND) basketball nipped the visiting Turtle Mountain Braves (Belcourt, ND), 67-62 in Saturday's league test.

The Braves (6-7) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary's Central (Bismarck, ND). The Saints go into the A West test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, St. Mary's Central was tipped by Jamestown (Jamestown, ND), 68-50, in a league test.

The Braves now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Minot for a A West test on Tuesday, February 1. Turtle Mountain will encounter a Magicians squad coming off a 75-52 league win over St. Mary's Central (Bismarck, ND). The Magicians record now stands at 11-1.
