Iowa High School Basketball - B-G-M overwhelms Moulton-Udell
January 29, 2024: Brooklyn, IA 52211 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA) and the visiting Moulton-Udell Eagles (Moulton, IA), saw B-G-M's basketball squad wallop Moulton-Udell by a tally of 69-36.
With the victory, B-G-M improves its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Bears host Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA) to play the Hawks in a South Iowa Cedar challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 17-1. Lynnville-Sully won 56-37 in their recent league challenge against North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Lamoni Demons (Lamoni, IA) in a Bluegrass challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Moulton-Udell will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Demons come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 47-17 non-league win over East Harrison [Ridgeway/Cainsville] (Ridgeway, MO).
