Center Place (Independence, MO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Overland Christian Eagle (Overland Park, KS), 46-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Center Place upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The travel to Clinton Christian Academy (Clinton, MO) to play the Patriots in a Mo-Kan Christian bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Clinton Christian Academy won 55-46 in their recent league bout against Heartland (Belton, MO)

Next up, the Eagle play the Plaza Heights Christian Academy (Blue Springs, MO) in a Mo-Kan Christian bout, on Thursday, February 1. Overland Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 59-34 non-league loss to St. Francis Christian (St. Francis, MN).
