January 29, 2024: Dry Ridge, KY 41035 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY) and the visiting Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY), saw Grant County's basketball squad overcome Dixie Heights by a tally of 57-43.
With the victory, Grant County improves its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Braves host Holy Cross (Covington, KY) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 31. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 14-7. Holy Cross lost 63-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Mason County (Maysville, KY)
Next up, the Colonels confront the Villa Madonna Vikings (Covington, KY) in a District 34 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Dixie Heights will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 53-34 non-league win over Calvary Christian (Covington, KY).
