Kentucky High School Basketball - Grant County holds off South Oldham
December 2, 2023: Crestwood, KY 40014 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY) and the host South Oldham Dragons (Crestwood, KY), saw Grant County's basketball squad hold off South Oldham by a tally of 91-85.
With the victory, Grant County improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY) to confront the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Anderson County lost 77-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Green County (Greensburg, KY)
Next up, the Dragons confront the Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 7. South Oldham will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 73-64 non-league win over Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY).
