Nebraska High School Basketball - Dorchester ripped by East Butler
January 29, 2024: Dorchester, NE 68343 The East Butler Tigers basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Dorchester Longhorns to 35 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host McCool Junction for a D1 District 2 contest on Tuesday, January 30. East Butler will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 40-28 non-league win over Nebraska Lutheran (Waco, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-3.
The Longhorns (0-16) will now prepare for their contest against College View Academy (Lincoln, NE). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, College View Academy was routed by Cornerstone Christian School (Bellevue, NE), 66-54, in a non-league contest.
